नाटक : युगको साँचो
यो नाटक अँग्रेजी नाटक ‘चार्ली एन्ड द चकलेट फ्याक्ट्री’ को भावानुवाद हो । विली वन्काले चकलेट बेच्यो संसारभरि । हामीलाई कपडाको आवश्यकता छ । हाम्रो समाजमा चकलेट भन्दा कपडा उपयोगी हो । अँग्रेजी नाटकको ‘विली वन्का’ फ्याक्ट्री साउ हो । हामी कहाँ विली वन्का ‘मुन मिस’ भएकी छिन् । उसको फ्याक्ट्रीमा अनौठा कामदार छन् । मुन मिसले ‘महिला तथा युवा’लाई रोजगारी दिएकी छिन् ।
अत्याधिक सफल ‘मुन नमुना उद्योग’ एक इमान्दार युवालाई हस्तान्तरण गर्नको लागि मुन मिसले कपडामा ‘युगको साँचो’ पठाइन् । युगको साँचो विभिन्न वर्ग, समुदायका युवा तथा बालबालिकाले पाए । युगको साँचो पाउनेहरूले मुन मिसको नमुना उद्योग घुम्न पाउने छन् । विशेष पुरस्कारको लागि भागदौड पनि छ । कसकसले युगको साँचो पाए ? विषेश पुरस्कार कसको हातमा पर्छ ? युगको साँचो के हो ? यहि सेरोफेरोमा नाटक बुनिएको छ ।
This play is an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” Instead of Mr. Willy Wonka and his chocolate empire, we have Ms. Moon, the visionary owner of a textile factory. In a society, where clothes are more essential than chocolates, Ms. Moon has created jobs for women and youth across the country, turning “Moon Industry” into a national success story. Now, she is searching for a successor. Hidden among her products is the coveted “Key of the Era.” Children and youth from all walks of life are discovering these keys, each granting a chance to visit the remarkable Moon Industry. The competition is fierce as everyone vies for the special prize. Who are the lucky winners? What is the “Key of the Era”? This play weaves these questions into a tale of hope and ambition.
