Description:

The story revolves around a corrupt businessman Mohan Kumar Chaudhari who has established himself as a reputed business tycoon in the society. He is well connected and can influence stakeholders, politicians and other members of the society. When play moves further his morally corrupt life unfolds slowly and his true face starts to show up. His ideal married life is just a cover-up. In reality, he got married just for the wealth while leaving behind the woman he loved. This play is beautifully conceptualized in Nepalese context. American dream of youngsters, workers’ union, male domination towards female, corruption and hypocrisy are some of the bitter truths of Nepalese society portrayed in the play. Pillars of our society look strong from the outside but they are empty and hollow from the inside. We trust and hope that they will save our country from failing but in fact, their corruption is the reason behind its failure. The play shows how cruel a man can be to save his image in the society.
