Description:
The play is based on the story of ‘Naya Sadakko Geet’ by Ramesh Bikal which is considered as one of his masterpieces. Through the story of a beggar couple living on the new road, pthe lay tries to unfold some of the human sensibilities. The young and beautiful wife stands beside her blind husband, despite being harassed. They feel unsafe, especially from the traffic police of that area. Seeing her husband in a helpless situation, she suggests to run away and find a new place to live. But, her husband feels that people like them are all around the country and they will run from one situation and get into many others.
